Greetings!
It has been some time since I last posted here. Having gone back and forth about returning to racing, I don't seem to be able to fight the urge any longer. Now retired, I have the time and the desire to find a car to get back on track, as it were. My racing experience was limited to FF from about 1983 to 1991, holding a National license for a couple of those seasons.
My current thoughts run from a vintage FF or FSV to a Club Ford or Club FC, but would really like to find a "project" to recommission, so there should be some options. I am looking at FRCCA or the various vintage organizations.
One question I have relates to the ability to run a car as a one person operation. Most of my friends are non-racers, and being a transplant from MN to PA, the folks I used to race with are back in the Midwest.
I look for any opinions on the "one man show" aspect, or suggestions for a car (preferably in the Mid Atlantic area) that you may know of that has been off the track for a long time, and ready to rebuild. I have secured some shop space for my automotive projects, so room for pieces and boxes is no problem.
Thanks in advance.
