FS: Ford 1340cc (109E) race engine (Geoff Richardson)

I have a low hours Ford 1340cc (109E) race engine for sale from my Ginetta G4. The engine was stripped and prepped by Geoff Richardson Engineering in the UK (£6,500) prior to my importation, and I had Craig Chima go through the engine again as part of a $15K sorting prior to my winning both of my class races at SVRA Mid Ohio in June 2014 with this car.

Craig's dyno sheet shows eight dyno runs with an average of 135hp at 7400-7800RPM and 141-144hp peak. Engine was tested to 8,400RPM as power declined above 8,000RPM. Less than 10 hours on engine and here are the details:

* New steel crank and bearings (5 main bearing type) - by Geoff Richardson; mic'd by Craig Chima

* Steel connecting rods and ARP bolts

* Forged pistons - provided by Geoff Richardson

* Standard rockers

* Gear-driven camshaft with Parkerizing still on cam lobes (like new)

* Ford head - prepped by Geoff Richardson; Craig Chima confirmed cross-hatch pattern still evident from honing; fresh complete valve job (1 race weekend)

* Zero hours MSD race distributor (Dave Bean Engineering - November 2014)

* Dry sump (Mocal)

Asking $7,500
