84 Reynard

I am posting this for Jeri Nicholson, widow of Lowell Nicholson who passed away last year from cancer. Jeri called and asked if I could help her in selling Lowell's Reynard. I had talked with Lowell on the phone several times about setup help but we had never met so Jeri had my number and asked me to come down, look at the car and advise her on how best to sell the car. So, that's the background. Here is Lowell's edited posting he put on Craig's list I believe when the cancer was first discovered:

"Selling my Reynard F2000 due to health problems. Car was run by Mike Bass in the SE regions. SCCA logbooks from 2002 to present. (Editor note: last entry is 09-06, according to Jeri the car was only autocrossed by Lowell and had one outing for approx. 30 minutes at Hallet with the Comma series), car has low time Nelson engine, MSD ignition, new pressure plate and flywheel resurfaced, 20 spare gearsets, two pickups of spares including spare block, head with cam. 90% of a new spare engine that would need assembled. (Editor note: seems to be the general assortment of spares boxes we all save for fear of something going wrong some weekend)".

The only thing I noticed when I saw the car that should be addressed is a hairline crack in the Hewland case at the case to engine mounting area and I included a pic of that so you can see what is what.

This would make an ideal CM car with a 1600 or great for getting your first foray into FC/CFC competition and having the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of preparing a car and yourself for competition.

Jeri is asking $7500 for everything and would like it to all go away at once.
