Apparently the two major Middle East investors have sold their shares in McLaren-F1 back to Ron Dennis. Obviously Honda will be financing something in the team if not directly in McLaren.
Interviewer: Do you think the Bahrainis are happy with Ron?
Bernie: They are nothing more to do with the race team any more. They have sold the shares to Ron. He has got to pay for them by a certain date. If he doesn’t pay he will obviously take them back but at the moment Ron would own the company.
