2014 FORMULA 600 CHALLENGE: VIR ROUND #1
Everyone has been getting ready for the 1st round in the 2014 F600 Challenge at VIR on May 9-11. There is a larger $5000 tow fund/ purse up for grabs along with several other contingency prizes. We have 9 drivers committed/registered for this race including 2 new drivers who haven't run the F600 Challenge series yet. We are looking forward to racing with Ryan Barth and Craig Laprade during the 2014 season.

The Formula 600 Challenge series was developed to help promote an affordable open wheel formula car to showcase talent without large financial race budgets. The Formula 600 open wheel cars use a 600cc motorcycle engine and a 6 speed sequential transmission revving up to 14,000 rpm with speeds in excess of 135 mph. The sound of this drive train is likened to a F1 car.
