I have seen corner weights taken two different ways (there may be others?).
One is to jack up the suspension (front or rear) adjust the spring perch, lower the car, then bounce it (off the scales), then roll it forward onto the scales and take a reading.
The other approach is to leave the car sitting on the scales and using a wrench simply adjust the perch until you get the corner weight you want - no bouncing or rolling involved.
Does it make a difference as to which approach is used?
Thanks,
Jeff W
