I need to replace a few loose screws that hold the forward lower side panel on my Van Diemen FC.
The screws go into tapped tabs on the frame.
I pulled one of the screws and I can't determine if its 10-32 SAE or M5-.8.
I've check with my gauges and both fit fine. The thread pitch gauges fit each other.
Went to the hardware store and the screw fits both 10-32 and M5-.8 in their sizing table.
It's a pan head screw with an allen drive and a 1/8" allen wrench fits very nicely :(
I'd assume most everything out of the UK was metric.
Markings on the head are "YF5". Anyone know how to decipher that?
Suggestions? My inclination is to say its M5.....
