Omega D1 dash repair
Hello all,
I have an Omega D1 dash in my car and recently find the oil pressure display takes a while for the 3rd character to display. Ie: oil pressure over 100F, the 1 will take a few min to display and before becoming permanently displayed it can sometimes fade in and out.
Does anyone have a repair resource for something like this ?
Seems like support for these dashes is a little difficult to track down.

It has pained me to think about this, let alone actually do it, but my FE is for sale. It has been two years of the most fun and competitive racing I have taken part in, but a career and growing family are going to be my priority for the next few years.
I purchased Chassis 29 from Steve Stadel of One Formula Racing in February 2014 and raced in 6 CenDiv Major’s Tour races at Blackhawk and Road America consistently finishing in the top 3…Rettich was a little out of my league ?.
In that time I also did a chassis teardown and custom repaint after the 2014 season. It has 3 races on it since. Steve and the One Formula guys have been amazing to work with between and on race weekends – that and all the guys racing CenDiv is what I will miss the most while I step away for a bit.
The car came to me in excellent condition with all the updates, and I maintained it at that standard. I will also include all of the upgrades and my spares with the sale:

• 3 sets of wheels (including set of mounted rains)
• New 2nd gear (installed at last race)

Fire System
VD brake bias knob/cable
Last season I moved the bias knob to just behind the right side of my steering wheel, and from an ergonomic perspective, it worked fantastic. Unfortunately, it required swapping the cable from the left side of the pedal to the right, and as I found out, when you have a low pedal for any reason the tail of the adjuster and cable interferes with the bottom of the gas pedal and limits the brake pedal travel, just when you could use some more, as well as limiting th pressure to the fronts.
So, I need to put a longer cable on that knob. It's the standard VD thing, which looks like maybe an AP or some other british part. There's no obvious way to take it apart, or a setscrew to make it easy to put on a longer cable. Any ideas? Anyone done this before?

WTB: LOLA 640/644 adjustable seat
I'm a bit too short to comfortably fit in the car due to the pedal position. My car did not come with the factory adjustable seat and I believe installing one would get me much closer to where I need to be. Between the adjustable seat and pouring a custom insert, I don't think there will be an issue. Does anyone have one? It's not that difficult to fabricate one, but I figured I would ask first.

I have a 1990 Citation FC that started life as a 1986 FF.
the slave cylinder or one of the connections to it just puked the contents of the master cylinder on the floor under the flywheel.
Is there an easy was to tell what I have once I get the car split.
Like bore size or something like that.
It still uses the FF spline on the input shaft and the clutch disc.
Pretty sure it is a SAAB based unit, but could not tell for sure looking at TRE and Pegasus.

CM at Crows Landing National tour
So sitting here contemplating and looking at the events I would like to make, of course as many as I can but the ones that are going the most fun for the money.
I was thinking that if we could get as many CM soloist to the Crows Landing National tour that this could be an Epic event.
I counted 16 competitors from San Diego to British Columbia and one in Colorado maybe more lurking in the outskirts, that said with maybe 1/3 having co-drivers we could have 21+ WOW! and the Picture for Facebook LOL
I would like to put this out there so that we all get ready for (maybe) a great National tour in April and more fun in 2 days.
Anyways if people could chime in and let us (CM people) if they're thinking about this event base on readiness of them self and their CM cars that would be great.
By the way this is the best concrete on the west coast a great tune up for the National's in Sep.

The Rocky Mountain Vintage Racers will be hosting their 6th annual Race Against Kids' Cancer on July 30 & 31, at High Plains Raceway, just east of Denver.
Again this year, Formula Ford will be the Featured Class. That means, ALL generations of Fords, even Honda powered ones, are invited to come race with us. Each of the past 3 years, we've increased the FF count, to 50 in 2015. Let's see if we can't get that to 60 or 70 or more! I've heard tales of that being the norm "back in the day".
This wonderful event raises $1000's for the benefit of the Morgan Adams Foundation, who in turn provide funding for Pediatric cancer research. This important event is a lot of fun and growing. Last year we had over 130 cars, including the 50 Formula Fords. Randy Pobst even came and raced with us!
Please put this on your 2016 racing calendar, plan to come to Colorful Colorado, bring family and friends, vacation here, and have a blast. Watch for further information. Also, check the RMWR website for updates. www.rmvr.com

Save the Date - July 30/31 2016 RMVRs' RAKC
This year the Rocky Mountain Vintage Racers will be hosting their 6th annual Race Against Kids' Cancer on July 30 & 31, at High Plains Raceway, just east of Denver. This wonderful event raises $1000's for the benefit of the Morgan Adams Foundation, who in turn provide funding for Pediatric cancer research. This important event is a lot of fun and growing. Last year we had over 130 cars, including 50 Formula Fords. Randy Pobst even came and raced with us!

After 35 years of collecting dust, I am turning my attention to a a much forgotten project. I need to rebuild an MAE engine. Any used bits would be very appreciated.

I have no idea if it works, good for parts, harness is in decent shape.

I have a nice spare set of wheels I wont be using so I figured I'd find a good home for them!!
They came off of my VD RF85 and I used them as a Centerlock style (I'm not sure if you can use lugs with these?)
They Are standard FF size of course. Not sure if back spacing is important with these, I can post those up next. I cleaned them up some and as you can tell, they look pretty dang good!! Definitely could take them apart and make them look brand new. :tire:
I'd rather include the Hoosier Rains with these also as I wont need them either (With my crap driving I'll melt in the rain honestly :ha:) I'm told they're in good condition and are good for use (Not like I'll ask much for them anyway)
