A question about shoes sizes -
I have large feet, between 13&14, and as a result I am limited as to what I can put on those boats. When I was a young guy I wore leather moccasins for driving shoes and since starting back this year I am wearing the same thing. Somewhere, I read a comment that you could get away with a much smaller racing shoe as long as you were only using them for driving. That would work for me, put them on only for driving the car since it's what I do now.
I am reworking the front of my car (FV) to free up some much needed room, but I would like to try a real racing shoe. The soft soles of my moccasins are leaving the bottom of my foot a bit sore. I suppose I could try a hard sole moc, but they all appear to be too wide to suit me.
Anybody have real world experience with this? How much smaller can I go?
Thanks,
Barry
